Release Overview
The Beta Set introduces TWA CASKS' innovative community-driven approach to whisky. Two exceptional single cask expressions are released together, allowing members to experience contrasting regional styles before voting on their preferred blend ratio. The winning combination becomes a limited community edition.

About
The Ardmore Distillery, founded in 1898 in Aberdeenshire, is one of Scotland's most distinctive distilleries. Uniquely among Highland distilleries, Ardmore uses peated barley, producing whisky that sits between smoky Islay style and refined Highland character. This 17 year old single cask release represents everything that makes Ardmore special.
Nose
Warm vanilla, toasted oak, honeycomb and light peaty smoke with hints of dried apricot
Palate
Rich toffee and caramel sweetness, vanilla custard, gentle peat smoke, baked apple and cinnamon spice
Finish
Long, warming with lingering smoke, oak and sweet heather honey

About
Mannochmore Distillery, built in 1971 near Elgin in Speyside, produces sumptuously rich spirit. This 16 year old finished in first-fill PX sherry cask delivers dark dried fruit, Christmas cake spice and velvety chocolate.
Nose
Intense dried fruits — raisins, figs and dark plum — with dark chocolate, espresso and mulled spice
Palate
Luxurious PX sherry influence: treacle, Christmas cake, walnut, dark cherry and rich cocoa
Finish
Exceptionally long and warming, with sticky toffee pudding, bitter chocolate and dried rose petals
The Community Blend
After experiencing both single cask expressions, our community will submit their preferred blend ratios. The most popular ratio will create a limited community blend of 500ml bottles.
